Base model for LoRA

Hi folks.

Could somebody clarify one thing for me?.. When I upload a LoRA for SDXL/Pony/Illustrious I choose a “Diffusion LoRA template“ and then there’s a “Base model“ field. But when I type say “Illustrious“ in it I’m getting a drop-down list of 6 items with a format “some_username/Some_model_with_a_word_Illustrious_in_it’s_name“.. But can I just select a basic Illustrious model, without anything specific?

No. When specifying base_model, you must always provide a specific username/reponame.
To specify the “basic (V0.1) Illustrious” model (not V1.0, V1.1, or V2.0), simply specify OnomaAIResearch/Illustrious-xl-early-release-v0.

Pick one concrete Illustrious repo from OnomaAIResearch and type that full name into the Base model field.
You cannot choose “Illustrious” in general. It must be something like:

Those five are the “real” Illustrious/Lumina bases from the authors. (Hugging Face)

OooKaaay… I guess I should specify the question then - if I’ve trained the LoRA on civit.ai - which one of those models I should choose then?

Oh, and one more thing - can I somehow change this for already ulpoaded LoRAs or do I have to re-upload them specifying a correct base model?
